Repurposed tea tins become storage cannisters
Metal tea tins make great storage containers, but you can't tell what it inside. I repurpose them by adding a bit of chalkboard paint, which makes it easy to label them.
1. Tape off areas you don't want painted.
2. Prime (primer available at hardware stores).
3. Paint with chalkboard paint (available at most hardware stores).
4. Allow to dry before peeling off the tape.
5. Label with chalk and change as often as necessary.
